1.   Can I use the LED Lighting controller with other LEDs?

          YES.      You can use it with any LED size or shape. Each pad from the PCB supports up to 20mA out.
                        If you already have the LEDs. Just buy the PCB itself to save.
                        Buy more on one purchase to save on shipping cost.


2.   Can I use the LED Lighting controller with larger scale models?

          YES.      Please contact us first to specify lengh of wires, so that we can build the kits to your
                       specified length.

2.   Can I use it with a different battery?

          YES.      You can use any 3V power source, such as 3V coin batteries used to power watches.
                        Two "AA" batteries will work also.


3.   Do I need a switch to turn off the board?

          NO.      Just leave the car with all the lights off for about 3 minutes and it'll power down to save battery.


4.   The wires look like they are bare copper. Will they short together?

          NO.      They are enamel coated wires. The insulation is very strong, flexible and can take heat.
                      Just add solder to your iron and then push the end of the wire into it to strip it and
                      tin it. Then tack it to the pads or LED.

5.   How can you see to solder the small LED?

                      I use a stereoscope to do all my soldering. You can purchase the ones with the leads already
                      installed for ease of use.

6.   Do I need a switch to turn it on or off?

          NO.      The car will turn itself off when you leave it on the mode with no lights on. .
                      To turn it on again, just press the top switch.

7.   Will the battery run out if there is no power switch?

          NO.      As stated above. The car will turn off and not use any power at all.
